We have just been booked to produce videos for Sonic Golf Scotland and Glasgow Regge band, "Man at the Window" this month.

The first readthrough for "Night is Day - The Movie" took place in The Vale Bar last night. You can see the photos at Dougie Coull's Photography site. A new promotional video from the night will be made available in the near future.
We also filmed a promotional film for Inverclyde Phoenix, an American Football team based in Greenock, which will be available to view shortly. Visit their site here.
We will be entering our short film, "I Heart You" in to the film festivals for this year and hopefully our 4th short film, "Hush" as it is being scored at the moment.

After the successful first day auditions for our very first feature film, "Night is Day - The Movie" on Saturday, we were very honoured to film the final performance of "Aladdin" at the Kings Theatre, in Glasgow.
"Aladdin" starred Karen Dunbar, Gerard Kelly, Keith Jack and Gavin Mitchell.

Our 5th short film "I Heart You" is now complete! We will be submitting it to the Scottish Bafta's New Talent Awards this month and then to other festivals around the UK before making it available online to watch.

We have been confirmed to film the first ever Glasgow gig of the upcoming Welsh blues and rock band, "Blue Gillespie" on Saturday 13th of March 2010. The band is fronted by "Torchwood" actor Gareth David Lloyd.

Happy New Year from Silly Wee Films. After a refreshing break over the holidays, Silly Wee Films will re-open on the 5th of January.
We have a large slate of corporate and promotional video work already confirmed for this year, with more work coming in.
We will be taking our two new short films, "Hush" and "I Heart You", to the festivals in the New Year before releasing "Night is Day" series 2 on DVD in the Spring.
Summer 2010 also sees the filming of our first ever feature film, "Night is Day - The Movie", a stand-alone story that sees our superhero, Jason Mackenzie (Chris Summers), fighting for the human race against an ancient Scottish demon only known as The Caillech. An official website will be launched soon but in the meantime visit our official Facebook page.

"Night is Day: The Movie" is now in pre-production with auditions due to take place in Glasgow over two days in January. We have 19 characters to cast and we are looking for Scottish-based actors. The crew is falling into place and we hope to start filming in June, at weekends until August with a tenative release of Summer 2011. "Hush" and "I Heart You", our two short films from 2009, are now being scored by Steve Dunster and Stuart Torrance respectively. We hope both short films will be completed by Christmas for the cast and crew, and then we will release the films for festivals in 2010.

Our latest corporate video, a promotional piece for "La Vita" a chain of Italian restaurants in Glasgow, is now available. To watch it click here. The DVD went into production in Glasgow and is now playing in La Vita Restaurants.
"Hush" our 4th short film is now being scored by Steve Dunster with special effects from Andrew Caldwell now complete. We hope to have this film available to watch by the end of November.
This weekend we will be re-filming the first day's shoot of "I Heart You" with Chris Summers and Natalie Clark playing Chris and Kirsty respectively. We hope this short film will be ready by December or January 2010.
Post production continues on series 2 of "Night is Day" with episode 4 of the 7 episode series, currently having the special effects added by Distant Future. Episode 3 is currently being scored by Philip Martin while episode 6 is being edited. We hope to release series 2 on DVD in January/February 2010.

Filming completed on the promotional video for "La Vita" restaurant and it will be available to view online in the next few weeks.
Our 4th short film, "Hush" has now had it's first draft complete and it's being sent off for special effects work and then to be scored while we are in post-production with our 5th short film "I Heart You". Visit our short films page for more information.
"Night is Day" series 2 now has a Twitter page which can be found here. Season 2 consists of 7 episodes, 5 of which are now edited. Episodes 1-3 have their special effects completed while episodes 1 and 2 have their sound effects and music completed.

With our short films "I Heart You" and "Hush" currently being edited, we have been kept busy with editing the second series of our self-funded sci-fi show "Night is Day"
We have also been chosen to produce a promotional video for the La Vita Group, a chain of Italian restaurants in Glasgow.
We are also filming the High Speed Rail conference in London next month to provide podcasts and a highlight of the conference for Transport PR.
Finally we have produced a promotional video for the Kelvingrove Hotel in Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow which you can see here.
We are also currently writing our first feature film script which we hope to put in front of the lens next summer, watch this space as we will be looking for new cast and crew to join the production.

Wrapped filming on our 5th short film, "I Heart You", which is a romantic comedy starring Chris Summers and Lissa Dougal. When Chris's girlfriend leaves him out of the blue, his best friend Mark takes him to the pub where Chris goes through the various stages of grief as he remembers the good times of his relationship with Kirsty.
Shot on the new Sony HD camera, we filmed the short within two days with help from The Buff Club in Glasgow, and various other locations in Glasgow's West End.
The film will be edited and submitted to festivals this year and next year.
Hush continues to be edited by Matthew Stephens and should be completed soon.
We are filming a wedding next weekend and a promotional video for the Kelvingrove Hotel in Glasgow.
