Our debut feature film "Night is Day" is premiering at the Glasgow Film Festival!
Tickets are on sale for the UK premiere which is being held at the CCA on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow on the 22nd of February at 6.30pm.

Happy New Year from Silly Wee Films.
We've started the year off by becoming an official limited company, as of December 2011 we are now Silly Wee Films Ltd.
We hope to continue providing high quality, affordable promotional videos for a wide range of clients to help demonstrate your work to your customers new and old.
We also hope to be able to continue creating original, exciting music videos for local musicians and artists.
It won't be long now until our first feature film, "http://www.nightisday.net" which follows the adventures of Scotland's superhero, Jason Mackenzie, as he battles the ancient Scottish creature, The Caillech.
All going well in July we will start principle photography on our second feature, "Get Funded", which is a comedy that centres on three young filmmakers as they stoop to desperate levels to shoot their debut feature.

While things are slowing down for the Christmas Holidays, we continue to edit corporate and music videos for our clients.

We have also worked on two music videos for upcoming singing talent, Kathy Muir, and we hope to be able to release the links to her videos soon.
Night is Day, our very first feature film featuring Chris Summers, John Gaffney, Tam Toye, Kirsty Anderson, Colin McCredie, Simon Weir and Elaine C Smith, is nearing the end of post-production and will be having screenings early in the New Year as we seek our distribution into cinemas.

In the New Year we will be starting work on "Broken Angel", an exciting new vampire-short film and "Get Funded" our 2nd feature film, following the comedic adventures of three young filmmakers as they get tangled up with gangsters as they try to make their first film.

It looks like Silly Wee Films will be booked right up to the end of the year with collaborations with opera singer Elena Xanthoudakis, medical training videos, working with an association for mental health services and promotional videos for a pub games provider.
On the 1st of November we will be flying to LA to take part in the American Film Market to seek sales agents and distributors for our debut feature film, "Night is Day", which is Scotland's FIRST superhero feature film, starring a wealth of talent from the UK including Elaine C Smith, Simon Weir and Colin McCredie. We recently took part in the 48 Hour Film Challenge in Glasgow, writing, producing and completing our short film Late Nights in just 48 hours. You can watch the comedy short by clicking on the link.
We are currently working with upcoming production company, Production Attic, on our 2nd feature film, "Get Funded", which is a comedy which sees three young filmmakers become so obsessed with making their first film they resolve to desperate tactics including exploiting people, robbing tea room's and much, much more. The film is in pre-production and we are currently seeking funding to shoot the film next Summer.

The latest news from Silly Wee Films is that we have been busy editing our debut feature film "Night is Day", preparing it for the American Film Market in November where we will meet with Sales Agents and international distributors to sell the film and put it out in cinemas, TV and DVD.
We have released a couple of new trailers for the film which you can see by visiting www.nightisday.net and clicking on the Media button.
Recently we teamed up with Loriem to shoot their promotional video for their website. The video will be made available shortly.
We also had the pleasure of filming with A & M Training - creating a DVD of their excellent community building dance showcase with their dance classes and schools throughout the North side of Glasgow. We will be creating a promotional video for the A & M website shortly after filming their community football game on the 26th of August.

Silly Wee Films is happy to announce that the follow up to our first feature film, "Night is Day" will be upbeat comedy, "Get Funded".
The film is currently in pre-production. We will be seeking funding as soon as possible and we intend to start filming in Summer 2012. To find out more please visit our Get Funded Page.

We have been very busy working on our debut feature film "Night is Day" ensuring that it's complete in time for the American Film Market in November. Our sound team will soon be recording the ADR sessions, while we are adding to our Visual Effects team lead by Mathew Crisps to ensure we have the best special effects possible for our independently funded superhero movie.
We have also recently been involved in audition castings for some very big clients, helping them cast their television promotional campaigns include Europcar and John Lewis.

In other news we currently have two feature films in pre-production. "Get Funded" which is a comedy about three young filmmakers who will go to any length to get their film made. "Fair Canaigh Valley" is a supernatural thriller about a young American couple who honeymoon in the Scottish village of Fair Canaigh only for the husband to be kidnapped by an ancient creature, forcing his wife, Alexa, to team up with the locals to get him back.
Both films are in early pre-production and we hope to put one of them into production once "Night is Day" is complete.

Silly Wee Films will be filming a special autism conference at the Royal Concert Hall next week entitled "No Mind Left Behind" which will also be broadcasted on the web at the same time. We are very excited to be a part of this important event.
